This week ‘cooking club’ is on Thursday and we will be making banana bread. The new Lacock ‘green café’ based at the Cornerstone café ( formely the Carpenters arms) are holding a fair-trade bake off on Saturday and we will be entering our banana bread in the competition. If anyone is free on Saturday and would like to go along there is lots of family activities going on.
The children are doing well with their lunches and it is lovely to see them sat together enjoying their food. Please note any uneaten food and packaging from lunch boxes is sent home so parents can see what has and hasn’t been eaten. This also encourages children to sort out their own lunch boxes in preparation for school. Our children are doing well developing their independent skills, such as putting on their own coats, hanging them on their pegs and taking themselves to the toilet. These skills help to make a smooth transition to school. After Easter for the ones going to school we will start practising changing for PE to again help them as they move onto school.
If you have any questions please come and talk to us.

The children are really enjoying the soup at lunchtime and are learning so much helping to make it. It is lovely to see them all sat down together.
Next week we will continue to make the soup but will also have the option of jacket potatoes ( with beans and cheese ) .
If you would like your child to have either please write their name on the sheet in the morning.
If you have not yet had a chat, about your child’s development but would like to, we can arrange a convenient time for you, just let us know.
This week at cooking club we will make pancakes as it’s shrove Tuesday this week.
